Ramadan Continues...

Muslims will continue the Ramadan fast today Tuesday July 5th, due to non sighting of the moon. According to the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, the new moon (of Shawwal) was not sighted as at Monday night in Nigeria and so the month of Ramadan would complete its 30-day circle. Eid-Fitr is now to hold Wednesday 6th July.

US may screen foreign traveller's Facebook and Twitter accounts to know what you are saying, USA Today reports. The US government's new proposal to curb terrorism involves snooping around social media accounts of foreign travelers. Volkswagen opens Rwanda's first car plant : Rwanda’s first domestically built car rolled off the assembly line at Volkswagen’s   new factory in Kigali on Wednesday as Europe’s biggest carmaker taps into demand for ride-sharing to expand in the region.
